Wood Restoration Project in Lincoln City

This was a rare hardwood deck from South America. It was done on the coast near Lincoln City in the summer. It was our first time working with this type of wood and it turned out to be much more meticulous work than expected. Being under-quoted, this wood restoration project didn’t bring any profit, but it was quite satisfying and a good learning experience. It was first cleaned and washed with a base cleaner. After it was treated with an acid brightener to restore the pH and followed with an oil finish to bring out the color.
